Terms and Conditions for Freely True Crime Prize Draw, Win a CrimeCon Birmingham Experience Package or a Freely TV
1. THE PROMOTER
1.1 The promoters are: Everyone TV Limited (“Freely”) with its registered office at Triptych Bankside, 6th Floor, 185 Park Street, London, SE1 9SH, Company No: 05422613 (“Freely”); and
1.2 CBS AMC Networks UK Channels Partnership, a general partnership between CBS UK Channels Limited and AMC Networks (UK) Limited, formed under the laws of England and Wales, with a place of business at 33 Broadwick Street, Soho, London, England, W1F 0DQ (“AMC”).
2. THE PRIZE DRAW
2.1. The title of the Prize draw is “Freely True Crime Prize Draw, Win a CrimeCon Birmingham Experience Package or a Freely TV”.
2.2. The Prize draw provides the chance for:
2.2.1.one (1) person to win a CrimeCon Birmingham experience bundle which includes a hotel stay for two (2), and two (2) tickets to CrimeCon Birmingham on Saturday 25th April 2026, together worth four hundred and seventy two pounds and forty four pence (£472.44 ) (correct at the time of publishing); and
2.2.2.one (1) runner up to win one (1) Freely Toshiba 32” 24WV63DB TV worth one hundred and thirty seven pounds (£137), (correct at the time of publishing) (together the “Winners” and the “Prizes”).
2.3. Freely reserves the right to substitute the Prizes with other prizes of equal or greater value.
2.4. The Prizes are not negotiable or transferable
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1. The Prize draw will run from 16:00pm on 03/04/2026 (the “Opening Date”) to 23:59pm on 07/04/2026 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
3.2. All Prize draw entries must be received by Freely by no later than 23:59pm on the Closing Date. All Prize draw entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
3.3. To enter the Prize draw, you must see the Prize draw post on the Freely Instagram page and do all the following:
3.3.1. Like the Prize draw post,
3.3.2. Follow @freely_tv and @truecrime_tv
3.3.3. Tag two (2) friends in the comments
3.4. You need to follow all the above steps for a successful entry. Multiple entries are permitted.
3.5. All complete Prize draw entries will be entered into a pool and one (1) Wnner and one (1) runner up will be chosen at random by Freely.
3.6. No purchase necessary to enter the Prize draw and there is no charge to register for use of the Instagram website.
3.7. Freely will not accept:
3.7.1. responsibility for Prize draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, but not limited to, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.7.2. proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize draw.
3.8. By submitting a Prize draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions
4. ELIGIBILITY
4.1. The Prize draw is open to all residents in the UK (excluding the Channel Islands) aged eighteen (18) and over.
4.2. Notwithstanding Condition 4.1, the Prize draw is not open to:
4.2.1. employees of Freely or its holding or subsidiary companies;
4.2.2. employees of agents or suppliers of Freely or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the giveaway or its administration; or
4.2.3. members of the immediate families or households of 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 above.
4.3. In entering the Prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Prize. Freely may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize draw.
4.4. Freely will not accept Prize draw entries that are automatically generated by a computer, completed by third parties or in bulk.
4.5. Freely reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize draw.
5. WINNERS
5.1. The decision of Freely is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
5.2. Freely will contact the two (2) Winners personally via Instagram no more than two (2) days after the Closing Date. At this point Freely will require the Winner’s email address for further correspondence regarding delivering the Prizes and the Winner’s county of residence in order to comply with the obligation below. For the CrimeCon Birmingham experience bundle, the Winner’s contact details will be shared with AMC, who will liaise with the Winner to organise the tickets and hotel stay.
5.3. Freely must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Freely will send the surname and county of the Prize Winner to anyone who emails [email protected] or messages the Freely Instagram page.
5.4. By submitting a Prize draw entry, you are agreeing to the use and publication of your surname and county in the manner described in 5.3 above.
5.5. If you object to your surname and county being published or made available, please email Freely at [email protected] prior to the Closing Date. In such circumstances, Freely must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6. CLAIMING THE PRIZES
6.1. Please allow thirty (30) days for delivery of the Prizes.
6.2. The Prizes may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.3. Freely will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prizes within two (2) days of being contacted by Freely, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prizes to the next eligible entrant selected at random from the successful entries received before the Closing Date.
6.4. Freely does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prizes or you provide incorrect address details for delivery of the Prizes.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, Freely, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prizes
7.2. except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY
8.1 Freely will only process your personal information as set out in the Freely Privacy Notice. See also Condition 6.3, Condition 6.4 and Condition 6.5, with regard to the announcement of Winners.
9. GENERAL
9.1.If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Freely may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize draw.
9.2. Freely reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend the giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
9.3. This Prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
9.4. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England , and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
9.5. If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of these terms and conditions (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.
