Version v1.16.38.6 of Freely is now available and will be rolled out to your TV. Your TV should update automatically.
You can check if you are on the latest version of the software by visiting the 'Settings' menu on Freely and selecting 'Software Updates'. Follow the steps on screen to update. For more help on how to update your software visit our FAQ

Day Navigation
We’ve introduced a new Day Navigation feature in the Freely TV Guide, making it even easier to plan what to watch and catch up on programmes you’ve missed.
Earlier this year, we launched the Backwards TV Guide, which lets you go back in time through the TV schedule. With Day Navigation, we’re improving this further so you can move quickly through days in the past and future.
With Day Navigation, you can:
- Move up to 7 days forwards or backwards in the TV Guide using a new Day Picker.
- Jump straight to the first channel for the day you’ve chosen, so you can start browsing immediately.
- Use your remote more efficiently:
- Press OK while the Day Picker (shown with the blue dot) is in focus to open it.
- Move from the top navigation directly to the first channel (the guide skips the Day Picker for faster browsing).
When you’re further down the guide, press the Blue button on your remote to jump straight back to the Day Picker
Day Navigation makes it:
- Easier to plan your viewing for the days ahead.
- Simpler to find programmes you missed within the last 7 days.
- Quicker to move around the guide, so you spend less time scrolling and more time watching.
Recently Viewed
We’ve added a new row to the Browse screen to help you jump back into your favourite shows instantly.
- Quick Access: The last 15 shows you’ve selected to watch are now automatically saved here, with the most recent appearing first.
- Stay Organised: Want to keep your list tidy? You can now remove any show from your history by selecting the ‘Remove from Recently Viewed’ button on the show's main info page.
All in One Place: Whether it’s a drama on iPlayer or a comedy on ITVX, your recently visited brands are now conveniently grouped together.
