It’s murder on the cobbles next week - and yes, it’s finally time for Coronation Street Murder Week! Put it in your calendar, this deadly week begins on Monday April 27th on ITV and ITVX. We’ve got alllll the spoilers! 

We’re tracking every twist, shock and spoiler across the week, starting right from Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) wedding night, where one Weatherfield resident won’t make it out alive… 

What is Murder Week on Corrie?

Buckle up for a dramaaaa packed week, sweeping us viewers back to Swarla’s wedding day. Monday through to Thursday’s episodes all unfold on the same fateful day, all beginning with the joyful reception of the two brides at the Underworld, replaying the same day on the cobbles butttt with different potential murder victims. In Friday’s episode, the killer twist is revealed, with all the action coming together and Betsy discovering just who didn’t make it out alive.

Meet the unlucky five who could be pushing up the cobbles by the end of Murder Week.

  • Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon): Buried under lies about grooming teen Will Driscoll, if the truth comes out, Megan could be living on borrowed time.  
  • Theo Silverton (James Cartwright): His coercive control over Todd has gone too far and revenge can be deadly. 
  • Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn): She gave Will a fake alibi to protect him after Daniel Osbourne’s Christmas Day attack. But what happens if Maggie discovers the full ugly truth? 
  • Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown): Shona’s estranged sister is high secrets and mixing with some veryyyy shady types which is a risky combo on the cobbles!  
  • Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard): Webster let Debbie take alllll the blame for the Corriedale accident, then discovered she’s his mum!?  Cue self-destruction spirals and a long old list of people who wouldn’t be sorry to see him go.

Monday 27th April 

Theo vs Todd 

The very first episode of Murder Week focuses on Theo trying to derail Todd’s escape! Theo turns up in poor Todd’s flat with his big old-packed suitcase, luckily George arrives and they manage to overpower Theo and escape the flat passport in hand, heading straight to the airport! Buttt in his rush to escape, he realises he’s forgotten his phone and rushes down to the street and comes face-to face with monster Theo clutching it. How far will Todd go for freedom? 

Tuesday 28th April 

Carl’s Causing another Stir 

It’s de-ja-vu as we’re swept back to Swarla’s wedding day. But this time we’re following Carl as he treks back on to the cobble to rock the boat, despite Debbie having paid Carl to leave Weatherfield. After receiving a message from Kevin that provokes Carl, he goes storming to the garage, tools in hand, to mess with Kevin’s brakes. Is his latest cruel move about to be uncovered? 

Wednesday 29th April 

Jodie’s Past Comes Calling 

Bag in hand, Jodie is on her way out of Weatherfield when all sudden she hears her sister Shona screaming and finds her being cornered by two men. That’s a reason to stay on the cobbles! Jodie knows that they have come for her rather than her sister and Shona ask her to stay with them for a bit longer. But during her stay, Jodie discovers that Shona has lied about never receiving her letter, she spirals into revenge – with David falling squarely in the firing line as Jodie attempts to tear her sister’s marriage apart. Running off into the night, Jodie ends up on the precinct swings when she’s approached by a mysterious figure… 

Thursday 30th April 

Maggie, Megan and a Fall 

Eva, Leanne and Toya get Megan into the salon flat to try and force her to admit to her wrongdoings, but this just ends up with one bloody nose belonging to Megan. So begins her tirade round the cobbles. She starts by trying to gauge some sympathy from Daniel, but it’s a lost cause. Kicked out of number 1, she happens upon Maggie saying some shadyyyyy stuff about her dead husband to Melanie. And like any normal person, Megan whips out her phone and presses record. When Maggie discovers Megan’s antics, she snaps and it looks like only one person could ever survive this feud.  

Friday 1st May 

Murder Week is Getting all Tied up, and Someone’s Toast 

The day has come for the murder of a certain Weatherfield local! All the stories combine under the fireworks for Swarla’s union. We’re talking a deadly chase between Todd and Theo, Summer caught in the middle, Megan’s antics are exposed, leaving jaws firmly on the floor and Sarah getting caught up in a home invasion!? Chaos is never far away from the cobbles. Not to mention, Betsy’s brutal discovery of the body of one resident which leaves the Street reeling.
