You can pause live TV on most channels when you’re watching over Wi‑Fi, for up to 15 minutes!
If you’re watching through an aerial, you won’t be able to pause live TV. That’s because aerial channels are delivered differently to Wi‑Fi streaming.
This may include channels like BBC and ITV if you’ve chosen to include channels via an aerial during the World Cup.
If you’d rather watch these channels over Wi‑Fi, simply unplug your aerial. Your TV will then switch to the internet version of the channels.
What about on demand?
Right now, channel players may give the option to pause shows. This has to come from the player – we can’t make this happen from our side.
