How do I turn on High Contrast?

The High Contrast theme is designed to make navigation easier for everyone, especially users with visual impairments. It uses a bright yellow focus indicator and clear borders around tiles, ensuring you can easily track where you are on screen, no matter what’s happening in the background.

  • Go to Settings and select the Accessibility area.
  • Navigate to the High Contrast toggle.
  • Press OK on your remote control to turn the High Contrast theme ON.
  • The theme will stay ON until you toggle it OFF.

The High Contrast theme maintains an ideal contrast ratio (7:1) between text and background, recommended for TV viewing distances. It’s available across all areas, including Browse, TV Guide, MiniGuide, Action Panel, Settings, Search, and Notifications.
