I’ve lost my data after a factory reset

In some cases, when all troubleshooting fails to fix an issue, you may have to reset your TV or Streaming Device to its factory settings.

This will delete all data from your TV or Streaming Device, including any recordings, login info, and settings you had saved.

How to do a factory reset

The steps may vary depending on your TV or Streaming Device, but they usually include the following. Check out your manufacturer manual for more info.

  1. Visit the Settings menu on your TV or Streaming Device
  2. Usually under options such as System, Support or Device preferences (about), you’ll find the Reset to Factory Default option. Select and follow the on-screen instructions to reset.
