Ah, this one’s simple! Your TV or Streaming Device should come with instructions to help you set up Freely. The steps will be slightly different based on your TV or Streaming Device, but they usually include the following.
Before switching on your TV or Streaming Device
Have your Wi-Fi password ready. If you're using a wired Ethernet connection (recommended if available), connect your TV or Streaming Device to the router before starting.
If you're including channels via an aerial, make sure it's connected to your TV before you begin the setup process.

Switch on your TV or Streaming Device
When you turn on your TV or Streaming Device, you'll be taken through a series of steps to set up your device and Freely. These may include:
- Selecting your language
- Choosing your location
- Setting your region, which involves entering your postcode
- Connecting your device to the internet – you’ll need your Wi-Fi password here for a wireless connection
- Running a channel scan
