Who are the Celebrity Traitors 2026?

The Traitors have been revealed! And we cannot wait to see the schemery unfold... however one traitor may have already performed one of the biggest acts of self-sabotage in Traitors history.

Two hooded figures stand in a dimly lit setting, each holding a glowing lantern. The scene is illuminated by warm lantern light against a dark blue background, creating a dramatic and atmospheric effect.

The masks are off... well, for some of them at least.

At the start of Celebrity Traitors 2026, Claudia Winkleman selected Richard E. Grant and Maya Jama as the castle's first Traitors, tasking them with deceiving their fellow celebrities and making it all the way to the end without being caught.

While Maya settled into Traitor life with ease, Richard's journey was a little more eventful. When Richard outrightly said he was a Traitor, the scenes instantly became one of the most-talked-about moments of the series. But what may have seemed like a bold strategy quickly backfired, with suspicion soon catching up to him. At the Round Table, Richard became the first person, and the first Traitor, to be banished from the castle, giving the Faithfuls a huge early victory and proving that in this game, even the smallest slip-up can be fatal.

The drama didn't stop there. On the second night, James Acaster was recruited into the Traitors' ranks, joining Maya and Richard in secret. But with the spotlight firmly on Richard, both Maya and James ultimately voted to banish their fellow Traitor at the Round Table, helping to conceal their own identities and convincing the Faithfuls they couldn't possibly be working from the shadows.

With Richard gone, the game entered a new phase. Maya and James later recruited Professor Hannah Fry into their secret alliance, giving the remaining Traitors fresh strength as the battle between the Faithfuls and Traitors continues. With shifting loyalties, shocking murders and dramatic banishments still to come, it's anyone's guess who'll make it to the final.

But in a game where trust is in short supply, Hannah soon found herself under the spotlight. Mounting doubts around her Faithful credentials saw her banished at the Round Table, levelling the score between Faithful and Traitor exits. And just when it looked like the balance of power might shift again, the Traitors made their move, recruiting King Kenny to their ranks. Safe to say, things just got a whole lot trickier.

James Acaster

One half of Off Menu and one of the sharpest comics in the country, James started the game as a Faithful before being recruited into the Traitors' ranks on the second night.

His decision to vote for fellow Traitor Richard at the Round Table helped divert suspicion away from himself, proving he's willing to make ruthless moves if it means surviving another day in the castle.

(Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You?, Ghosts, Hypothetical)

Maya Jama

Close-up studio portrait of a person with long dark hair, wearing a metallic high-neck jacket. The subject faces the camera against a backdrop of deep green curtains, lit with soft, dramatic lighting.

The Love Island host has proved she's just as comfortable navigating castle politics as villa drama. Calm under pressure and rarely giving much away, Maya has quickly established herself as one of the most convincing Traitors in the game.

Like James, she voted to banish Richard when the pressure mounted, sacrificing a fellow Traitor to protect her own position. If the Faithfuls aren't careful, that move could help carry her all the way to the final.

(Love Island, The Masked Singer, Celebrity Gogglebox)

King Kenny

Following the banishment of Professor Hannah Fry, the Traitors had an opportunity to recruit and selected the one and only King Kenny for the game. We cannot wait to see how this unfolds!
